The Porsche was obtained by a Southern California collector and immediately underwent a frame on, very correct restoration. Paint was stripped to the metal, sanded and completely repainted. Engine was removed, metal refinished, parts powder coated and rebuilt with the addition of high performance Webber Carbs. Brand new tan leather upholstery for front and back, all seat hardware is new or re-chromed, new carpeting throughout, New dash and door panels, switches and handles repainted, new convertible tan top and tonneau cover is in perfect condition. The Porsche was originally delivered to New Jersey and quickly made is way to Southern California with a Naval Aviator where it’s been for most of its life. There have been 4 documented owners of the car since 1964. As you can see, the owner went to great expense restoring this car into the work or art it is today.
